Sea Turtle Release Cruise is available every Sunday and Wednesday by booking either Bali Hai Reef Cruise, Bali Hai Beach Club Cruise or Aristocat Sailing Catamaran.
Cost of adoption is US$ 10 per baby turtle.
100% profit goes to the Kurma Asih, a group of villagers from Western Bali, named after their love for turtles.
Under the advise from Conservation International and the guidance from marine biologist specialized in turtles, the money from the adoption is being used for the following:
Paying villagers to report the eggs laid on Western Bali Beach so they can be brought into the safety of a hatchery, protected from dogs and other threats.
Educate young students in Bali schools about the importance of a healthy marine environment, the turtle’s important role within it and turtle conservation.
Building and improvement of hatchery.
Collection of data for research for sustainable turtle population.
